PANALEX AVI-DE Reinforcement punching prevention 

Reinforcement for prevention of shear forces in reinforced concrete structures

AVI-DE are bent V-shaped matrix- or ladder- like reinforcement bars, industrially produced using electric resistance welding similar to the steel grates used in construction. The wires of the rails and rungs conform to Group BSt 500 of ÖNORM B 4700 point 3.4.1.2.

AVI-DE are produced in various heights and lengths and can generally be used as punching prevention in all supporting structures for iron-concrete surfaces. They are arranged symmetrically or in star form. The degree of reinforcement can be increased by means of a fishbone arrangement of the individual elements. AVI-DE is especially suited to punching prevention around the columns of panels supported at intervals (floor slabs). The usual application is of eight angular components at a 22.5° angle installed symmetrically around the column head. 

The external diameter of the "shear force star" thus created or the side length of the individual element in simple arrangements depends on the panel thickness.

Stop ends in 4 versions

PANALEX TRiGOFORM® stop ends are mechanically welded systems that can on request be fitted with integrated seals, reinforcement, toothed joint or mounting elements of standard or custom length depending on the project.

PANALEX TRiGOFORM® stop ends in BST 500 G steel for all versions of construction joints in reinforced concrete structures.

PANALEX waterstop sheet with integrated coating

Quick and secure waterproofing of all construction joints. No need for expensive concrete upstands. Watertight sheets with fixing guides are made of galvanised steel and have a special coating over the entire surface. The coating is resistant to all organic wastes and is ideal for installation in water purifiers. Certified by surveillance inspection on buildings for pressures up to 4 bar with no upstand. A 3 cm concrete covering is sufficient.

Bentonite hydrophilic tape

Bentonite hydrophilic tape will grow in size in contact with water and provide lasting watertight sealing of holes and cracks. The tape is equipped with a retardant and can be thus affixed regardless of the weather. When mounting, ensure that the concrete surface is clean and the interior of the reinforcement is covered by at least 8 cm of cement. Certificate of general surveillance inspection on buildings for pressures up to 5 bar. Tested for suitability in contact with drinking water: suitable for areas where water level alternates. 

Sealing collar

Sealing collar reliably seals ducts and pipes made of plastic, steel and fibre cement. The openings in concrete floor slabs, walls and shafts are securely sealed against groundwater and pressurised water.

• Passed the pressure test at 5 bar.
• Resistant to diluted acids, alkalis, slurry, oil and bitumen.

Installation:

• soiled pipe walls must be cleaned prior to attaching the sealing collar.
• Push the sealing collar onto the end of the pipe and slide along before the pipe is installed. It should be mounted centrally on the wall/ floor plate.
• Use a screwdriver to tighten the clamping straps sufficiently to prevent the sealing collar from shifting during concreting.

Cardboard formwork

Formwork for pillars made of tough, weather-resistant cardboard with ripcord for straightforward form release. Ripcord release saves time.

Release agents

PANALEX PANOIL is a release agent with additives that facilitate the release process while ensuring utmost protection for the facing. Its unique composition forms a homogeneous, inert film for separating formwork and mixture to enhance the aesthetic quality of the exposed concrete.

Applications: smooth/ rough formwork; steel, wooden or cement formwork.
